Create a MINI WHIMSICAL BICYCLE art quilt while learning skills to use in future projects. Hone your paper piecing skills with the freezer paper technique that finishes with no paper to pick off. Learn easy peasy turned edge appliqué using bias tape makers, raw edge appliqué, and couching.
MATERIALS NEEDED
- Mini Whimsical Bicycle Pattern included in the cost of the class
- background - 3 scraps: 4”X13-1/2”, 9”X15” & 5”X15”
- wheels - 32 scraps approximately 2” X 2 -1/2”
- bike frame - fat eight or scraps
- bike parts - assorted scraps
- flowers - assorted floral printed fabric (approx 1” flowers)
- baskets – 36” embroidery floss or crochet cotton
- mistyfuse© or other light weight fusible webbing - 9” X 12”
- freezer paper - 9” X 12”
- Clover Bias Tape Maker - 3/8” (#4012)
- Steam-A-Seam 2 - 1/4” wide
- threads to match your project
